Battle of Titan (VE)

Titan is the largest moon of Saturn and is an incredible world. It is known to have liquids in the form of rivers, lakes and seas. Now, there is battle brewing for control of Titan and your students have been recruited to assist. Battle of Titan is a fun and powerful piece to show off your ensemble. With thick scoring and a sweeping melody, your kids will enjoy the journey through space to the Battle of Titan!

Battle Zone (E)

Commissioned by Richard Rodriguez for the Stroman STEM Academy Band, Victoria ISD, “Battle Zone” is a music composition based on a fictional video game battle. The music has an ominous beginning with low voices taking the lead. The main melody is hinted and then gradually revealed. The tune then crescendos to a raucous & energetic level. You’re in the Battle Zone now! I hope you enjoy “Battle Zone”!

Dia de los Muertos (E)

Dia de Los Muertos March celebrates the holiday Dia de los Muertos (English: Day of the Dead), a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and by people of Mexican heritage throughout the world. A unique march that is sure to be a hit with your kids and audiences alike!

Temple Chase (E)

Commissioned by Richard Rodriguez for the Stroman STEM Academy Symphonic Band, Victoria ISD, “Temple Chase” (Grade 1.5) is a programmatic composition based on a classic adventure storyline. Our story starts with our hero/heroine in a temple in South America, looking for relics. Boom.. Swish.. they’ve been discovered and must make a run for it! The chase is on! I hope you enjoy “Temple Chase”!


Dark Circus March (ME)

The circus comes to town. The circus brings the smell of the popcorn, peanuts, and the sights of all the animals. The circus also brings all of the pageantry of the performers, artists and of course, the clowns. It is an experience like no other. Ride on the carousel, explore the fun house, and enjoy the twisted coaster. It’s nighttime and you’re exploring the circus on your own. Enjoy your time with the Dark Circus March!

The Midnight Marauder (ME)

The Midnight Marauder — an adventurous & fun journey into the world of mystery & intrigue. The composition is written in medium cut time tempo with some exotic chords & memorable melodies. Percussion is present throughout to move the action. This composition will delight your audiences. clip-clop, clip-clop … The Midnight Marauder is on the move. Adventure awaits.

Noche de los Muertos (ME)

Based on the Di­a de los Muertos Mexican holiday, this is an unique and catchy little march that will be a hit with your kids and audiences alike!

Star Gazers (ME)

Star Gazers is an Easy-Medium Concert Band composition. This fun piece portrays the feeling of gazing at constellations while soaring through space. There are unique harmonic structures and challenging rhythms for your young musicians. Students will feel as they are hurdling through space at high speeds and meander through a nebula into new worlds! I hope you enjoy Star Gazers!

Sahara Sunrise (M)

Comprising around 25% of all of Africa, the Saharan Desert is the world’s largest hot desert and stretches over ten countries, nearly 8% of the world’s land area. Sahara Sunrise allows listeners to visit this great landmark. Sahara Sunrise is broken into two sections. The opening is reminiscent of a sunrise over desert dunes. The second section is a ride through the desert on your camel. We hope you and your audience enjoy Sahara Sunrise!

Stingray March (M)

Commissioned by Brian Ruiz for the Robert Vale Middle School Wind Ensemble. Stingray March is a medium grade march perfect for your next contest or festival. It’s a very rhythmic piece that will make your ensemble sound fantastic!

To The Heavens (M)

Written for directors Alex Melendez & Rebekah Bulen & the Stinson MS band/choir, this Band/Choir piece has it all. A slow melodic intro with a bombastic band section and a fantastic finish! Your ensemble will enjoy this piece and it is sure to be a crowd pleaser!


Binary Fission (MA)

Binary fission is the reproduction of a cell by division into two approximately equal parts. During binary fission, a single organism becomes two independent organisms. With the concert band piece, Binary Fission, each section starts with one single note and evolves into two musical lines playing in harmony. The cell division is symbolized in the composition finale with the musicians playing random notes, only to conclude with dramatic effect. I hope you enjoy Binary Fission!
