Commissioned by Mr. Marcus Roberts for the Navasota JH Symphonic Band in Navasota ISD in honor of his retirement. Mr. Roberts celebrates his many years of teaching public school in the state of Texas and he will be missed in the classroom. This concert piece is a reflection of his past and hopes for a bright future. “The Journey Ahead” will premiere in May 2024.
